Freestyle Kite Buggying with Aberavon Sand Pirates :D

It was most certainly the best day we have had so far this year in terms of wind conditions....spot on 20mph clean onshore winds....ohh yess.

Well it was a fantastic days kiting, huge airs and rotations and tricks on my beloved 6.5 Mark 5 Flexifoil Blade...Oh how I love this kite. Steve as always was going HUGE....doing trick after trick and making me very jealous indeed hehe. We were all having a ball with Gasket starting to dabble in some freestyle with his new quiver of Flexifoil Blade IVs. He is doing brilliantly as well, nailing two wheels and putting all his effort into ground spins, despite some hard crashes and flips….. You will have them soon Gasket!!!

It was fab to see some more Aberavon Sand Pirates on the beach (Darren, I think you have found your love for kiting again). We also had the company of Graham Reed, another freestyler, cutting some big air and tricks. Woo hoo! Hopefully see you down at the beach more Graham :D.

Sadly by mid afternoon I took a little tumble and injured my shoulder so sadly I became the camera girl and out of action for a while :( However I’m sure I will heal and will be right as rain for the next windy day.

Feel free to check out the video and let’s hope for more fab days. Roll on the CLSC meet next weekend (19-20 April), RAWkite (2-4 May) and No Barriers14.
